H.E. Mr. Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, hosted the Thai Gourmet Luncheon co-organised by the Royal Thai Embassy, the Thai Trade Center, the Office of Tourism Authority, the Thai Airways International (PCL) and the CP Company Limited at the Husa Princesa Hotel in Madrid on 30 August 2011.

                        The event was organized to make the refined Thai cuisine more widely known by the potential entrepreneurs from Food, Hotel Management, Tourism and Service industry in Spain. 120 business people were invited to taste the original Thai food prepared by the Chefs from the Ambassador’s Residence, namely Somtam with Rice Cooked in Coconut Milk and Fried Chicken, Tom Yam Kung, Fish in Chu-Chee Style Curry and Thai Stuffed Omelet served with Steamed Jasmine Rice and Tubtim Krob served with Thai Jasmine Cake (Kanom Nam Dok Mai). The guests were overwhelmingly impressed by the fine taste and the extraordinarily decorated Thai food.
